5 Wood Blades Ceiling Fan with Light And Remote

This ceiling fan is a very fashionable to our bedroom. The complaints I have are that the led seems to have a mind of its own sometimes and the creaking of the fan. When you dim the light, the LED flickers and doesn't know what to do so there is not a happy medium with the dimness. The fan blows well, but after a week and proper installation - a comfortable speed of 2-3 leads to creaking noises. Over all its an okay option for now.

I am a big fan of this fan! For years now I have been drawn to the propeller-type style for ceiling fans. I love airplanes, and when I saw this fan I decided to give it a try. Everything was packed well in the box, the blades are very light, instructions are pretty good, though I modified my install in a way I felt would be easier - and I believe it was. The motor is super-quiet, even on the highest speed setting. The LED light has an adjustable color temperature (we like warm light). The light is not very effective for thoroughly illuminating our master BR, but as a supplement it is just fine. From what I can see, the installation instructions call for the installer to mount the blades to the housing before installing the housing to the bracket. This is where I deviated from the install instructions. I installed the bracket and housing first, then added the blades. Much easier for me and my large frame to not have to navigate the install with the blades attached. The wiring was pretty straightforward - attach the house wires to the receiver, plug in the receiver leads to the housing. Just that simple. There is also a wiring terminal mounted to the bracket, which is not required. In fact, the mounting location of the terminal puts it in the way of your screwing the mounting screw into the ceiling box. I would suggest you just remove the wiring terminal - which is what I did.
